You Can Still Rock in America!
The Annual New York Burlesque Festival was even better when I last saw it in the mid 80s than they are today! What a show, amazing! The intimate setting of BB King's made it feel like they were putting on a show just for me. They did all of the classics, a couple of newer songs [that were good!], some Damn Yankees and even Ozzy. They told a few stories, but nothing political or annoying like some other bands. It was just really cool. Jack and Kelly sounded great on vocals, the 2 newer guys fit in perfectly and Brad is still one of the best guitarists ever. Oh and when I close my dream about you, Jack! They look like they are having a great time up there and we all had a great time too! Great night- great band, great show!
